Training for Roles in Language Work
Literacy Specialist
The courses listed constitute the required training for literacy specialists. The basic courses are the same for both the linguist-translator and literacy tracks. The courses in the Literacy Megacourse are specifically for the literacy specialist. They are offered at GIAL during the spring semester and during the summer session at North Dakota. They may be switched in sequence with courses in the second semester of the basic courses if necessary.
